(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Huge masses flocked on Wednesday to the Late President Hafez al-Assad Square in Raqaa, 550 km from Damascus, to voice support to Syria's independent national decision and the comprehensive reform program led by President Bashar al-Assad.
Participants in the rally expressed rejection of the foreign interference in Syria's internal affairs, thanking Russia and China for their supportive stances to Syria.
Lebanese Politician Joseph Abu Fadel said "We came to Syria to say that standing with Syria is standing with Lebanon and the Arab Nation and to affirm that supporting Syria means supporting the right, resistance and Arab interests."
For his part, Head of the Department of Political and International Relations of the Arab Expatriates Organization, Mohammad Derar Jammo, pointed out that Syria will win over the conspirators and will get out of the crisis stronger than before, thanks to the national unity.
Sheikh Habib al-Fandi said Syria will stay fortified against conspiracies because of its people's awareness.
For his part, Pastor of Raqqa and the Euphrates Area Churches, Priest Noman Zweik, said "We feel relief over Syria's bright future thanks to the loving people who have proved that Syria will, as always, be a home for peace."
In the same context, thousands of the Syrian citizens from Salamiyah City and villages in Hama Province flocked to the Public Square in the City to voice support to the comprehensive reform program led by President Bashar al-Assad, appreciating the army's role and sacrifices for maintaining Syria's security and stability.
They also expressed rejection of the foreign interference in Syria's internal affairs, thanking Russia and China for their stances in support to Syria.
participants underlined that they hail the decrees and legislations which they believe will pave the way for building the modern Syria, expressing their support to the Syrian Arab Army that is providing martyrs to foil the heinous conspiracy targeted against Syria's identity, history, future, principles and values.
They also condemned the terrorist acts committed by the armed gangs which have been targeting state forces, innocent civilians and scientific and intellectual figures as well.
Earlier, Damascus, Aleppo, Lattakia, Sweida, Hasaka and Deir-Ezzor provinces witnessed mass rallies with the participation of millions of people who stressed their support to the reform program and adherence to national decision.
