(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Terrorists Omar Hamoudi al-Nisr and Najib Hajj Najib confessed to forming armed groups which set up roadblocks and ambushes that killed several civilians and soldiers in Khan Shihoun and Jisr al-Shughour areas in Idleb province.
Terrorist al-Nisr said in confessions broadcast by the Syrian TV on Sunday that he attacked along with his group several cars on the road between Damascus and Aleppo which resulted in the death of civilians, while terrorist Hajj Najib said he took part in an attack against military security headquarters in Jisr al-Shughour.
Terrorist al-Nisr, who was born in 1980 in Khan Shihoun and was arrested once for theft, said that his uncle Tarek al-Nisr asked to participate in protests in exchange for money which he did for 15 days, and afterwards Tarek took him to his farm and told him that he wants to form an armed group to kill security and army personnel.
Al-Nisr said that during his stay at the farm, he met Safwan Kamal al-Nisr, Mohammad Eid Ibrahim al-Nisr, Musaab Mohammad al-Nisr, Khalaf Baroud, Samir Mawwas and Ibrahim Maarati who were armed with AK-47 rifles while he used a pump-action shotgun, adding that the firearms were brought form Lebanon and Turkey.
He said that after forming the group, they ambushed a white bus on the Aleppo-Damascus highway and opened fire on it, and that once Tarek and Musaab took him to a room in the farm where three security forces personnel were tied and they shot them dead and dumped the bodies.
Al-Nisr went on to say that three days after attacking they bus, they ambushed a minibus on the same highway and opened fire, killing everyone inside except for one, which is when Ibrahim Maarati gave him a knife and told him to kill the survivor and he complied.
"After the operation, Tarek told me we got the wrong minibus because the people we killed were civilians and included two nurses, and that they weren't security personnel." He added.
Al-Nisr said that Tarek paid him SYP 5,000 for each "operation" and he received a total of 15,000 before being arrested in Damascus.
For his part, terrorist Haj Najeeb said that he was contacted by Abdul-Hamid Sawfan who told him that they must form an armed group, adding "We were ten people: Abdul-Hamid Sawfan, Abdul-Minim Haj Najeeb, Abdul-Malik Haj Najeeb, Orwa Haj Najeeb, Misbah Haj Najeeb, Nawar Brimo, Mohammad Brimo, Ahmad Brimo, Naasan al-Ahmad and Mustafa al-Mahmoud."
He said that after they received pump-action shotguns they erected barricades each night until the day they attacked a law-enforcement post in Jisr al-Shughour on June 4th. "Abdul-Hamid asked me to help the group in that attack," he confessed.
"Abdul-Hamid took my shotgun and gave me an AK-47 rifle with fifty bullets. We went to Souk al-Hal area and opened fire on the post. I saw two people standing near a window and shot them dead. We continued shooting till evening and in the next day we withdrew to Khirbat al-Jouz area and then to the camps in Turkey," noting that Turks were on borders supervising the entry of people and moving them via vehicles to the camps.
