Yemeni people have once again protested against the dictator rule of Ali Abdullah Saleh with the aim of ousting him from the reins of power.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Tens of thousands of Yemeni people took to the streets of Sana'a and urged the UN Security Council to follow up on complaints filed against the Yemeni dictator.

The peaceful demonstrators chanted slogans against the UN Security Council and emphasized that the revolution of the Yemeni people is peaceful and democratic but the brutal and repressive crackdown by Saleh’s regime should be followed up through official judicial procedures.

The UN Security Council convened a summit in Yemen on Tuesday in which Yemen’s representative to the UN, Jamal Ben Omar, emphasized the deteriorating situation of Yemen’s security.

This is while the US and its affiliates, constantly target Yemeni revolutionaries and defenseless civilians under the pretext of confronting al-Qeada forces.
