10-day Keramat ceremonies marking birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS) and Hazrat Fetemeh Ma’soumeh (SA) were held on October 8 with participation of a large number of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) devotees at religious center of Afghan Shia Muslims residing in Athens, Greece.

10-day Keramat ceremonies marking birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS) and Hazrat Fetemeh Ma’soumeh (SA) were held on October 8 with participation of a large number of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) devotees at religious center of Afghan Shia Muslims residing in Athens, Greece.

 According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the ceremony began with Quran recitation and included showing a teaser with a poem by Husseyni, Iranian poet, a contest for teenagers and the youth and granting cultural packages to the participants.

 Addressing the program, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyem Mohammad Hussein Mousavi talked about the virtues of Imam Reza (AS) saying that the Imam provided outstanding scientific services to mankind during his fruitful life and held many scientific meetings with scholars of the time to clarify the rightfulness of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), denouncing corruption of Bani Umayyah ruling.

 “Besides holding religious and scientific meetings, the Imam also trained eminent scholars to disseminate Islamic teachings and Ahl-ul-Bayt’s (AS) tradition.

 Also speaking at the ceremony, Mohammad Reza Pakravan, in charge of Iran Cultural Center in Greece presented an article on “Imam Reza (AS) and cultural onslaught led by Islam's enemies”.
