Quran Recitation Principles to Be Instructed in Karbala

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A specialized course on Quran recitation principles will be held from Thursday, October 6, by the Holy Quran Institute affiliated to Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine in Karbala, Iraq.  According to Noon news agency, Mohammad Javad Al-Salami, director of the institute announced that the annual course has been organized with the aim of promoting Quranic skills of the Qaris of the country and dissemination of the correct way of reciting the holy Quran’s verses among the Quran activists.  The specialized course will be instructed by Rafe’ Al-‘Ameri, international Quran reciter and judge of international Quran contests.  He said that the classes will be held on Thursdays from 3 to 5 pm. local time and participants will be given certificates acceptable in local Quran institutes as well as those in other countries.  The director added that all of Quran reciters and those interested to learn the principles can register for the course at the institute in Karbala./129
