(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - At least four people have been killed and 33 others wounded when a bomb on a motorbike went off outside a shop in northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar.
The blast occurred late Monday in the Nishatarbad area of Peshawar, the capital city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province near the Afghan border. It came just hours after a Taliban bomber set off his explosives, killing eight people, including six policemen, in Pakistan's commercial hub Karachi.
Several cars and motorcycles parked near the city's music market were also destroyed after the building caught fire as a result of the blast.
Police cordoned off the area following the incident and launched an investigation.
No group has claimed the responsibility for the attack yet.
Pakistan has lost more than 35,000 people in militant attacks and bomb explosions since 2007, according to the Associated Press. Millions more have been displaced by the wave of violence and militancy across the country.
