(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Zainudin Daiziyev, the imam of a mosque located in the village of Kadar, has been shot dead in the Buinaksk district of Dagestan, a spokesman for the republic's Interior Ministry told Interfax.
Daiziyev was attacked in the village of Chankurbe at around 10:20 p.m. on Thursday.
Two unknown men carrying firearms entered Daiziyev's house and fired several shots at him. The imam died from his wounds.
