With the refusal of groups, close to Bahraini regime, to participate in Bahrain’s parliamentary by-elections, this election has faced a blanket boycott.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A senior Bahraini human rights activist, Mohammad Mesqati, in an interview with Al-Alam Network, referred to refusal of groups, affiliated to Bahraini regime, from participation in parliamentary by-elections, while adding that even a group, close to Bahraini regime, has announced that any of the members of this group who would want to run for parliament, should first resign from the Bahraini group.

This Bahraini political activist referred to the initiative of foreign states for resolution of the crisis in Bahrain, especially the initiatives made by Qatar and United Arab Emirates, while adding that: There is no need for foreign initiatives and the Bahraini ruling system should make domestic initiatives. But, first of all, the incarcerated political activists and medics should be released from prison.”
