Chairman of Assembly of Experts Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Mahdavi-Kani said on Wednesday that Islamic Awakening movements have echoed the demand for justice and the regional nations followed Iranian lead to support Palestinians to end occupation of Qods. In a message marking World Qods Day, he said that Islamic awakening movements have reverberated in the region and tyrant governments are collapsing one after the other. Hezbollah, Hamas as well as the Palestinians have dealt such a blow to the Zionist regime that was unprecedented in the past 50 years, he said. Qods Day this year is observed at a time when the Western governments, especially the US are grappling with serious economic problems and the current of awakening has reached the borders of the America and Europe, the message added. The world has fed up with the tyrannies of the US, Britain and the Zionist regime which are the most hatred on the face of the world. Madavi-Kani called on the nations to actively take part in Qods Day rallies worldwide to condemn the US support for the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories./129
