With the bankruptcy of three other banks in the US, as of the start of the year 2011 to this date, sixty-eight banks have gone bankrupt in this country.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - It was announced on Friday that the Lydian Bank at Palm Beach, Florida, has shuttered due to bankruptcy. The total assets of this bank until June 30, 2011, amounted to almost $1.7bn.

Moreover, the National Bank of South in the State of Georgia, and the Choice Bank in the State of Illinois also went bankrupt on Friday. The total assets of these two banks until June 30, 2011, respectively stood at $164 million, and $141 million.
