(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Persian research centre on Saturday organized an exhibition of unique Quranic Manuscripts in Islamabad.
Iranian cleric Ayatollah Moallemi was the chief guest on the occasion.
Ayatollah Moallemi speaking on the occasion appreciated the efforts of Persian research center and cultural center for organizing such a unique exhibition on the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
He stressed the need for unity among Muslim Ummah urging the Muslims to follow the teachings of Quran in true spirit and spread them to others.
He said that Iran has been doing a wonderful job for spreading true Islamic teachings in other parts of the world.
Iran has become a role model for other Islamic countries because they are practicing Islamic teachings in their country.
Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Masha’Allah Shakeri on the occasion welcomed the Pakistani intellectuals who participated in the exhibition.
He praised the role of Iranian cultural centre in promoting the true spirit of Islam by organizing such activities.
“Iran is an excellent example for other Muslim states”, he said.
He urged the need for promoting cultural activities between Iran and Pakistan for bringing the people of two countries closer.
Quranic scripts from 8th Hijri to 12th Hijri were exhibited on the occasion.
Iran's Cultural Councilor to Pakistan Agha Ali Noori was also present on the occasion.
A large number of Pakistani scholars, important personalities and residents of Islamabad visited the exhibition and praised the efforts of Persian research center for holding the exhibition.
