Deputy of Qur'an Affairs in the Organization for Culture and Islamic Guidance said more than two million people are expected to visit Tehran international Qur'an exhibition.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Deputy of Qur'an Affairs in the Organization for Culture and Islamic Guidance said more than two million people are expected to visit Tehran international Qur'an exhibition.

Hojjat-ol-Islam Hamid Mohammadi, deputy of Qur'an Affairs in the Organization for Culture and Islamic Guidance said the most important event in this exhibition is clarifying the status of holy Qur'an in relation with Islamic awakening and uprisings of the Muslim countries.

He said that the role of the jurisprudent in leading the movements have to be clarified beside the foundation that Islamic Revolution of Iran has created for the moves; hence Islamic awakening will comprise one of the most important parts of the coming international Qur'an exhibition.

The motto in the coming exhibition is "Qur'an, the Book of Awakening" and the biggest part of the exhibition belongs to conceptual art with the theme of jurisprudence.

"Qur'anic figures of the country will convene in this exhibition and will find the capabilities and developments of each other," said the cleric adding that people have to witness these developments in society.

The 19th International Qur'an exhibition in Tehran is to be held during Ramadan July 28-August 26, 2011.
