(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Chairman of the Union of Turkish Agricultural Chambers Semsi Bayraktar said that there would not be any increase in prices of foodstuff in holy month of Ramadan. At a press conference, he also gave information about the prices in fruit and vegetable markets in supermarkets prior to Ramadan month. "There was harvest rise in some products as there was much rain in Spring, and noted that there was loss of productivity and quality in various vegetables and fruits because of diseases increasing depending on the rain," he told Anadolu News Agency. Despite all those developments, the production is at the desired level. We do not expect any yield loss in any product apart from hazelnut, he said./129
