(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Speaking among a group of Turkish Shia students visitors, Dr. Mohammad Bagher Khorramshad pointed to the recent uprisings and revolutions in the Islamic countries and called them as the third wave of Islamic awakening.
He said,”the first wave of Islamic Awakening refers to reform movements from the time Seyyed Jamaleddin Asad Abadi lived till Islamic Revolution of Iran.”
“At that time the aim behind the reform movements was building an Islamic society not Islamic government,” he said, adding that all the movements hindered by the intervention of the tyrannical government.
He pointed to the Islamic revolution of Iran and called it as the second wave of Islamic Awakening.
Head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization finally indicated that recent uprisings in the region and different Islamic countries can be regarded as the third wave of Islamic Awakening.
He pointed to the import role of Islamic negotiation and underlined, “Islamic negotiation is superior to western negotiation.
“The typical method used in western negotiation is killing time and hindering the expansion and the victory of Islamic awakening,” he said.
Dr. Mohammad Khorramshad underlined the role of Muslim students in foiling the plots hatched by the arrogance world and underlined,” it is incumbent upon the students to stand against this method of western countries.”
