(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Senior Vice President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Agha Murtaza Poya said unity among the Muslims was a prerequisite for strengthening the Islamic world as well as Pakistan. He advised Muslims around the world to fight against a common enemy which is the United States. “We have to realize that U.S. is the enemy of Islam”, he said. The religious scholar also stressed for close cooperation between the Islamic countries to counter anti-Islam conspiracies. He viewed that friendship of Pakistan with U.S. is creating problems for the country. Agha Murtaza Poya said that presence of U.S. forces in Afghanistan is the basic reason for increasing terrorism in Pakistan. He believed that the U.S only interferes in the affairs of those countries which are weak. “They (U.S.) cannot harm Iran because the country has refused to bow down their pressure”, he said. “U.S. is zero before Iran”, he added. “We have to understand that our enemy is very weak”, Agha Murtaza Poya said. He asked Muslims to come out of the influence of so called big powers. Expressing his views about presence of U.S. forces on a Pakistani airbase, he said that such reports cannot be ruled out. “After the withdrawal from Afghanistan they would remain present in the region to keep an eye on Iran”, he viewed. He said that anti-American sentiment is increasing in Pakistan./129
