Mauritania Welfare Party Denounces STL, Praises Hezbollah

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The statement of the Welfare party of Mauritania has greatly denounced on Friday the STL indictment, while provided the full support for the Islamic Resistance of Lebanon, which “represents the warhead in confronting the expansionist Zionist and imperialistic plans.”“While Lebanon and the region live extra-exceptional circumstances … the STL indictment had suddenly been issued to accuse the honorable Resistance of assassinating the former PM Rafik Harriri,” the statement read.The Welfare Part marked that “this untruthful indictment signifies the Lebanese Resistance has been pushed to another line of confrontation, which requires our support and stand behind the resistance.”The statement as well praised Hezbollah “for being the most important stronghold of our nation, and the most honorable phenomenon, which was found only to be kept.”It also provided support for the current Lebanese cabinet, “which the indictment came to abort its national and reformist project.”The statement stressed its great denouncement, condemnation and rejection of the STL indictment “which is only targeted at hitting the resistance in Lebanon and Syria.”“We offer our full support to the Lebanese Resistance, led by the leader of Mujahedeen (fighters) Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah,” it went on to say.The party also called upon all Lebanese political parties to give priority to the public interest, and to take into account the Lebanese national unity as a basis for handling the indictment.“We are surprised of the increased Western concern about the Libyan, Syrian and Lebanese arenas, while keeps silent about the oppression in Bahrain, where the people is fighting a heroic struggle against injustice, marginalization and sectarianism,” the statement added.“Long live the striving Arab nation.
