(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to report posted on the conference’s website, Bahman Taherian-Mobarakeh added that representatives of 80 countries and international organizations have so far been invited to the confab slated for June 25-26.
Iran believes that there are numerous capacities for fighting terrorism, he said, noting that mobilization of capacities requires a positive and constructive approach within the international community.
Topics for discussion at the event include the roots of terrorism, international cooperation in fighting the phenomenon, strengthening international mechanism for fighting terrorism, role of regional and international organizations in the fight terrorism and divine religions’ approach towards the issue, he said.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will deliver key-note speech during the inaugural ceremony of the event, Taherian-Mobarakeh said.
