Shia cleric lauds the efforts of Shia scientists demanding collection and introduction of the works by Shia researchers.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - HujjatulIslam Hassan Taromi, Academic deputy of Islamic Encyclopedia Foundation hailed the struggles of researchers to collect Shia teachings saying the more efforts we make to collect these sources, the more we pave the way to know Imam Ali (AS).

This religious figure said," Those who have collected the teachings and quotations of Imam Ali (AS) include the first Shia Imam as the pioneer of scientific discussions."

"The first step to know a school of knowledge is to know the works and the literature of that school, hence the best way to introduce Shia is through rereading and comprehending historical characteristics of this denomination." HujjatulIslam Hassan Taromi said.

On the importance of compiling Shia sources he said," Shia community has had political severance which led to missing some works by Shia authors and scientists hence it is needed to know Shia researchers so that Shia thinking is known.

Throughout the history, according to HujjatulIslam Hassan Taromi, many great measures have been taken to know Shia works by some renowned figures among them Sheykhe Toosi, Persian scholar of Twelver Shia (۴۰۸-۴۶۰ A.H.), Allameh Majlsi Iranian Twelver Shia cleric (۱۰۳۷-۱۱۱۰ A.H.) and Sheukh Agha Bozorg Tehrani, Iranian Shia jurisprudent (۱۲۵۵-۱۳۴۸ A.H.).
