(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The operation is to remove a piece of shrapnel that was lodged near Saleh's heart, in an attack on his presidential palace in the capital Sana'a on Friday.
It is unclear whether Saleh, after four months of civil unrest at his 32-year rule, intends to return to Yemen.
