(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Imam Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with cadets at Imam Hassan (AS) military academy.
Imam Khamenei referred to analyses on the failure of US strategies in the Middle East and said, "Thirty years ago, the Great Satan just lost one of its corrupted cronies, the Pahlavi regime, but today the US is witnessing that more regimes dependent on it are collapsing one after another."
Imam Khamenei said that the isolation of the US and the revival of Islam were indications of the realization of God's promises and added that the US failure in the Palestinian issue was yet another indication of US failure in the international arena.
Imam Khamenei also said that the Islamic Revolution was on a higher status compared to thirty years ago and called on the Iranian nation and officials to remain steadfast and vigilant in the face of Western plots.
Imam Khamenei said that thank God the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps have become a professional armed forces in light of repulsing the US-backed military invasion of Iraq in 1980 and confronting the counter-revolutionary terrorists over the past three decades.
The revolutionary body under wise leadership and commands of late Iamam Khomeni played significant role during eight years of sacred defense as well as in other fields, said Imam Khamenei.
Praising presence of the people on the scene to thwart the adversaries, Imam Khamenei said that thank God the Islamic Revolution is in its highest status in various terms.
Imam Khamenei recalled the hostile measures adopted by the US administration over the past 32 years including the military, financial, propaganda and political supports it provided to Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to invade the Islamic Revolution and said that the Iranian nation came up victorious from the battlefield.
In reference to the Islamic Awakening Movements in the Middle East, Imam Khamenei said that some 30 years ago, the US lost a major puppet regime Pahlavi of Iran, the same trend is going on with loss of other puppet regimes in the Middle East.
'The new developments in the region are indications for revival of Islam among nations and isolation of US policies in the region.'
Imam Khamenei said that the US has been isolated in the Middle East following failure of US policies over Palestine.
Imam Khamenei highlighted the magnificent turnout of Palestinian youth in demonstrations in the occupied territories to mark anniversary of the Day of Nekba when Israel occupied Palestinian territories in 1942.
On the achievements made by Iran over the past 32 years, Imam Khamenei said that vigilance of the Iranian nation and officials are prerequisite to see the promises given by Almighty God be fulfilled.
To attain the goal, all should exercise vigilance and remain committed to the path of Islamic revolution as well as its lofty goals, said Imam Khamenei.
After Imam Khamenei's remarks, national anthem was played and the commander-in-chief of the armed forces reviewed the guard of honor and inspected different parts of the academy.
