During the meeting, Galloway confirmed the importance of the ongoing events in the Arab arena, noting that this has opened [wide] horizons for change, and placed the entire world on the track of change. He also pointed out that the enemy's Prime Minister appeared in the American Congress like a bullfighter gloating and showing off as a big personality whose opinions cannot be discussed; but rather, applauded for, confirming that the American President, Barack Obama, has fooled the Arabs and failed the hopes they placed on him.
Sayyed Ali Fadlullah thanked Galloway for his supportive stands towards the rights of the people, especially the Arab peoples and the Palestinian cause, in addition to his continuous interaction with the miseries that the Palestinian people go through due to the Israeli terrorism of multiple forms and methods. He also pointed that the free and noble stands of Galloway has made many people in the Arab and Islamic world regard the West differently, as they sensed that the West is not uniformed and that there exist several personalities and intellectuals who speak out for the right, even when it is to the detriment of their own interests, and even if it made them pay high prices facing the [extensive] Zionist and Western media and political campaigns.
