(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, Head of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought met with a board of cultural figures from Egypt headed by Dr Alawi Amin, professor of Al-Azhar University.
Ayatollah Taskhiri condemned United States of America for its anti-democratic and anti-freedom policy and said that US maintains Human Rights only in words.
"US, with its satanic plots, created a tyrant regime like the Zionist regime of Israel in the heart of Muslim world to hinder Muslim unity," said the grand cleric and stressed unblocking the Muslim unity as an important priority for the Muslims.
Egyptian board visiting Islamic Republic of Iran was headed by Alawi Amin, renowned professor from Al-Azhar , Abdul Rahman Yusuf Al-Qardawi, revolutionary leader and poet, Adel Al-Muallem, a manager of Dar-al-Shorouq Publication, Ahmad Soyoufi, journalist and also Ms Amani Majid, head of the religious department in Al-Ahram institute.
The Egyptian board visited Iran at the invitation of Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly aiming at boosting the cultural ties between two great civilizations, visiting scientific and cultural centers and also meeting with Iranian officials. In the sideline of their meetings with the luminaries, Abdul rahman Yusuf al-Qardawi, son of grand Egyptian Sunni mifti, Yusuf Al-Qardawi, attended a poetry reading session and Dr Alawi Amin gave a speech at Qom Friday prayer.
