“Anywhere there is a dictator, he is supported by you ... he is your stooge,” President Ahmadinejad said, referring to Washington, in a speech following the inauguration of a major gasoline production project in the southern city of Abadan on Tuesday.
He also criticized the US establishment and asked, “What is the difference between a country ruled by one or two [dictators] for thirty to forty years and a country dominated by two parties for many years?”
The Iranian chief executive underlined that no freedom-seeking group would be allowed to reach power in the United States unless the current US establishment underwent a major change.
He also warned regional countries against US plots to save Israel and protect its own interests.
“Their scheme is to save the Zionist regime (Israel), global arrogance and US interests ... the main enemies of nations are the US, its allies and the Zionist regime ... All regional countries must be vigilant,” the president added.
He went on to say that the US had devised a scheme for every single Arab country in the region and said Washington used countries to reach its objectives but pushed them aside once it achieved its goals.
President Ahmadinejad also warned against US plots to sow divisions among regional countries and said, “It is the US scheme to pit regional nations and countries against each other and to wage a war between them.”
He condemned US war-mongering policies and said that the US was responsible for every drop of blood spilled in the region, adding that the aggressors will be brought into justice in the near future.
He, however, pointed out that a new Middle East and North Africa was taking shape without the dominance of the US and the existence of Israel.
“The world of colonialism is about to collapse and nations will see the collapse of capitalism in the near future,” he concluded.
