(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - In a meeting with thousands of Iranian workers in Tehran today that was interspersed with chants of Allah-o Akbar, the Leader pointing to the regional issues and the failure of the enemies against Iran, said a very bright future awaits the region thanks to the striving of the regional people on the path of Islam.
He referred to the feverish efforts by the hegemonic powers to strike a blow on the Islamic Republic of Iran, adding that they want to insinuate that the regional people are not inspired by the Islamic system because of what the West likes to call the isolation of Iran. But, he added, the ground realities are something else, as is evident by the show of respect and admiration of the revolutionary masses of the region for the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian nation, while it is the US regime that is the butt of intense hatred.
Elsewhere in his remarks on the threshold of Labor Day, the Leader referred to the dignified status of workers in Islam, and said the progress and development of the Iranian nation has a date with destiny. He said the commitment of all government and non-government institutions as well as the people, to the goals of the Year of Economic Jihad would give a further boost to the progress of Iran.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei noted that the enemy in its campaign against Islam and the Islamic Republic has mostly concentrated on economy in addition to animosity in the cultural, security and political fields. He stressed: We should fight the enemy with all our capabilities by relying on sincerity of intention, insight and prudence.
