According to Moheet website, it is held for participants of all age groups in male and female categories.
Male contestants aged 16 to 20 years old compete in Tarteel recitation of 60 and 30 Hizbs (a quarter of one Juz’) and those aged 18, 15, 10 and under 10 years of age, recite 20, 10, 5 and 2 Hizbs respectively.
In the female category, girls under 10, 12 and 18 years of age compete in recitation of 2, 5 and 10 Hizbs and those aged 21, 26 and 30 recite 20, 30 and 40 Hizbs respectively.
Each city will host the competition with the capital Amsterdam hosting the last one in April 17.
The competition will conclude on April 18.
The final round of the previous edition was held in 2010 at Othman Mosque in Rotterdam.
