(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Senior Sunni cleric highlights the role of Muslim scholars announcing that one way to achieve Muslim unity is to Command what is good and forbid what is evil.

Top Sunni cleric of Sistan and Balouchestan, Iran, Mowlavi Khalil Badr Taftan said, "Scholars are the propagandists of the religion. This is their duty to lead Muslim nation towards unity by commanding what is good and forbidding what is evil."

He stressed the role of Hajj in bringing more unity to Muslim nation and said Hajj has a fundamental role in unifying Muslim nation since it has great potentiality to unify Muslim nation.

"The point that Muslim representatives from different countries convene in one place at the same time is the best opportunity to bring forth issues of the Muslims." said Mowlavi Khalil Badr Taftan.

He referred to Qura'nic verse And hold fast, all together, by the rope of Allah and be not divided and mentioned Hajj as one of these ropes that can guarantee unity of Muslims.
