(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - With a series of sanctions by people-based world institutions and NGOs starting to bite Israel, the Zionist regime’s Knesset has mulled solutions, including through a ratification which is aimed to threaten and punish any Israeli citizens who participate in the boycott campaigns.
According to Haaretz, the draft bill however received a shaking support as many Knesset members (12 members) found it against the Israeli claims of human rights, including freedom of expression.
The draft law includes calls for imposing sanctions against foreign citizens and organizations that boycott or organize boycott activities, with fines reaching up to 30,000 NIS ($8100), while foreign citizens could be banned from coming into ‘Israel’ for 10 years.
