Local sources confirmed that the court demanded Sheik Salah to pay a fine estimated of 3 thousand shakels and prevented him to leave his home or even to go out his town as well as extended a ban on entry of Al-Araqip village.
Sheik Salah was jailed by Israeli police during his return to the city of Jerusalem on 22nd of February after involving in a protest rally held in Silwan. The protest condemned Israeli ongoing policy against unarmed citizens.
The court rejected to mention any details related to the issue of Sheik Salah's detention .
Sheik Salah was once detained in may 2010 when Israeli navy brutally attacked the Freedom Flotilla Marmara which came to ease Israeli siege over Gaza Strip. He was one of the peace activists on the board of the ship.
