A Mosque Open Day at the TIC, in Upper Tooting Road, has been arranged to coincide with the exhibition launch on Saturday, April 2, at 11am.
The exhibit is billed as “a colourful, professionally produced exhibition which hopes to promote better understanding of Islam and remove misconceptions”.
Confirmed speakers during the two-day open event include Wandsworth Council leader Edward Lister, two reverends from borough-based hospitals and experts in Muslim culture.
