(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - In a Saturday message, Imam Khamenei offered his condolences to the house of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Revolution.
Boroujerdi died earlier on Saturday at the age of 76 due to lymphoproliferative cancer. He was married to Zahra Mostafavi, the daughter of Imam Khomeini.
He served in the Iranian Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. He also served as the Iranian Ambassador to Finland.
He was the head of the International Institute for Dialogue among Cultures and Civilizations.
