Do not suppose that Allah is oblivious to what the wrongdoers are doing. He is only granting them respite until the day when the eyes will be glazed. (Qur'an, 14:42)
In such conditions that the movement of Islamic awakening and justice-seeking has spread all over the regional countries and holding rallies and gatherings by Tunisian and Egyptian nations have toppled dictators attached to the west. As a natural right of every citizen in free and democratic states and in order to realize denied rights, people in other Muslim states also have started holding demonstrations.
Now this freedom-seeking movement has reached Bahrain seashore, and these people unlike Egyptians did not intend to overthrow their regime, but by holding completely peaceful demonstrations they asked for realizing reform plans the governing regime had promised to perform some years ago. Surprisingly and unfortunately the peaceful requests of noble people of Bahrain were strongly suppressed. Martyring two young people of this country some days ago as well as barbaric attack on strike holders at Pearl Square this morning led to martyring more number these people have surprised every one in the world and those who interestingly think of Bahrain destiny.
Referring to the domain of this massacre, the ahl al-Bayt ('a) World Assembly as an international and NGO at which hundreds of elite followers of ahl al-Bayt ('a) are members draws the world's attention to the following points:
1. 1. Western states have claimed for many years that they are the standard bearers of democracy, human rights and freedom, whereas they misuse such human concepts to suppress real freedom seekers. Now they should answer that if they are interested in nations' rights, why they do not stop the functions of those governments supporting them?
2. 2. The king of Bahrain is strongly requested to give up violence and meet people's legal demands. With out doubt, exerting violence on people will increase discord among them.
3. Statesmen, military and security forces of Bahrain are requested not to soil their hands with the blood of their compatriots and be punished in the hereafter.
4. All political parties of Bahrain are requested to hold talks to settle disputes without violence or political dead end.
5. Any military or suppressing interference by foreign countries is strongly condemned and we also warn all neighboring countries of Bahrain as well as world powers, not to interfere in internal affairs of this country.
6. Human rights organizations are requested to exert pressure on Bahrain statesmen to stop denial of more rights of these people. Also health activists are requested to go to help these people as soon as possible.
Once again, the ahl al-Bayt ('a) World Assembly denounces recent events of Bahrain and it is certain that such people with its entire different religious sects are able to manage their country. Certainly, with patience and trust on God they will attain victory.
…and victory comes only from Allah, the All-mighty, and the All-wise.
