(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Lebanese Supreme Shi’a Majlis Speaker Sheikh Abdul-Amir Qabalan said here Monday supporting IR of Iran when faced when it is with faced any hardship or plot is a religious duty for us.
Sheikh Qabalan made the comment at a welcoming ceremony held for the Qom Seminary International Affairs Deputy Hojjatoleslam Mohammad-Hassan Zamani.
He added, “Islamic Iran cares dearly for the interests of the world Muslims and spends tremendous efforts aimed a acquiring hi tech sciences, serving the mankind and assisting the oppressed, which are good reasons for supporting Iran as a religious duty.”
Sheikh Qabalan emphasized, “Ira plays key role in saving the Muslim nations when they face crises and therefore the Muslims should unite, establish a sold front, and fight against their ploys and plots unanimously.”
He reiterated, “The Islamic Republic of Iran keeps on resisting against the threats and imposed pressure resolutely.”
Hojjatoleslam Zamani and his accompanying delegation also had a meeting with the International Affairs deputy head of the Islamic University of Lebanon.
According to the report, the two sides exchanged viewpoints on cooperation between the two academic centers and educational affairs.
