Study shows 38 per cent Palestinian homes demolitions increase in 2010

NAZARETH (Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A study prepared by the Arab Center for Alternative Planning says Israel destroyed 227 Palestinian-owned structures in 2010 in 1948-occupied Palestinian territories.

The study marks a worrying 38 per cent increase from 2009.

Arab villages in the Negev desert unrecognized by Israel were the primary target. Planning authorities destroyed 205 of those structures there.

The ACAP is the only Arab public organization recognized by the Israeli Ministry of Interior to intervene in internal planning issues.
