(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Considering the fact that the Islamic revolution has been a cultural and spiritual revolution, it always gave special attention to Sunni people,” deputy of Iran affairs in the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Hojjatol Islam Val Moslemin Hamed Alam Al-Hoda, said.
He called all of the propagandas against unity poisonous and mentioned,” for example before the revolution, the number of Seminary schools in Sistan and Baluchestan where the majority of Sunni brothers in Iran live, were so few, but fortunately after the victory of Islamic revolution, the number of schools in this area is about 200.”
This is one the achievements of Islamic Revolusion that accomplished by people attempt and the government support.
“In the past our Sunni brother should have travelled to Pakistan to continue their education but these days the condition is very suitable and we accept students from other countries such as Afghanistan and Tajikistan,” the cleric continued.
“Today by holding annual exams, the Bachelor and post-graduate degrees are published for students,” He said.
The deputy of Iran affairs in the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought pointed to the current condition of women in Iran and said,”In the past, women have been given no attention in the realm of religious issues but we have Sunni Seminary schools and women are educating there and based on their own Islamic Schools can benefit form the lessons and classes.”
The cleric ruled out foreign media’s claims that there stands no freedom for Sunni people in Iran.
“Unfortunately such claims are proposed by Iran enemies and they are try to extand their poisonous propagandas,” he said as underscored,” we have to mention that there stand rules in this country and all the organizations should abide by law.”
“At this time there stand many Mosque in our Sunni areas and Friday prayers are held more gloriously than before and no one avoid people to hold their Friday prayers,” he mentioned.
