(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Barzani in his statement deplored the Wednesday suicide attack near a mosque in Chabahar city, in Sistan and Balouchestan province, and called it an "inhumane" act.
He also expressed sympathy with the bereaved families of the victims and wished patience for them.
On December 15, at least 37 people were killed and 95 others were wounded after a bomb went off during a mourning ceremony on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hossein (AS) Chabahar.
The Pakistani-based Jundollah terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
A funeral ceremony was held in Chabahar on Friday to bury the bodies of eight of the victims in a local cemetery, while bodies of the other victims were transferred to their own provinces.
The ceremony was attended by a high-ranking delegation, led by Iranian Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar, and representatives of the Supreme Leader's office, government and parliament.
