head of the Jordan's Parliament awarded special trophies to the winners of the competition.
The Council for Organizations and Islamic Societies of Jordan organizes the competition of the Islamic centers of the country every year.
Speaking at the ceremony, deputy general director of the council said, “this edition of the contest was held with the participation of 47 male and female students from 27 Islamic centers in Jordan who competed in memorization of the entire Quran and 20 and 10 parts (Juzes) of the Quran.”
Mahmoud Al-Natur added that from among the participants, 23 male and 12 female students were selected as the top ones.
The supervising committee of the contest and three selected Islamic centers were also honored at the ceremony.
