(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Ashatebi Quranic Institute in Kuwait has opened a new Quran memorization center in Al-Juhra region.
According to Al-Jarida daily, the center, which is the 10th Quran memorization center affiliated to the Ashatebi institute, is special for women.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, head of the new center Amal Saeedi said it aims to promote Quran education and memorization among women and support Quran memorizers and reciters.
She said the center welcomes girls and women of different ages willing to learn the Quran.
Ms Saeedi added that the center’s classes will be held Sundays through Thursdays from 4 p.m. till 7 p.m.
Khalid Abu Ghayth director of Quranic affairs department at Kuwait’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization also spoke at the ceremony, praising Ashatebi Institute’s efforts in raising an outstanding generation of Quran memorizers.
