Visiting Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad urged Ulema and Islamic scholars to settle the basic problems the human society is facing.

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The president made the remark here on Thursday in the second day of his state visit to Lebanon in a meeting with a group of Christian, Sunni and Shia Ulema in Lebanon during which he also called on religious scholars to try to work out fundamental solutions to the man's problems.

Noting that all scholars and Ulema were unhappy with the current situation in human societies across the globe, he said 'settling current affairs and problems of human society should be on Ulema agenda.'

President Ahmadinejad referred to worshipping Gold, kindness and justice as the principles all divine religions shared and said ignoring such issues were the root cause of human society problems.

He also described Lebanon as a great courageous, strong and sincere nation which has firmly stood in front of the cruel occupiers and the corrupt Zionist regime.

President Ahmadinejad said such a nation should be introduced as a symbol of unity across the world.
