Ahlul Bayt News Agency ; Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov made the offer at the annual meeting of foreign ministers of OIC member-states in New York.
Mammadyarov asked the OIC member-states to support Azerbaijan's initiative.
He said that the holding of the summit in Baku would increase the influence and role of the OIC in the Caspian, Black Sea and CIS.
Mammadyarov thanked Muslims and OIC Secretary-General Dr Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu for supporting Azerbaijan’s just position in the conflict with Armenia.
