Ahlul Bayt News Agency, Concepts of God, religious education and medical ethics will be the main themes of the four-day conference.
Scholars will deal with some of the most important predicates of God and describe the situations in which young people live and think about the limitations and possibilities in mosques/churches, schools, and in the family for religious education, in an increasingly free, individualistic and pluralistic culture.
Moreover, medical practitioners and researchers will describe the facts and the present condition of medical treatments, and the questions that they, as believers from both sides, have and the answers that they – in practical treatments – give in modern Western and Arabic hospitals. With reference to their own beliefs, ethics professors will deal with their answers on recent medial issues.
Scholars have been invited to send their short papers for the program. Proposals for short papers should be between 400 and 500 words in length and should be emailed to info@islamchristiandialogue.org.
The deadline for submitting proposals is September 20, 2010.
