Ahlul Bayt News Agency, Sayyed Moqtada Al Sadr contacted head of Al Iraqiya List Iyad Allawi to voice him support over appointing his party to form the new government, Al Hayat Newspaper said.
Allawi and Sayyed Moqtada Al Sadr conferred over the phone two days ago over the political options on the table to ease the political and constitutional tension in the country, a senior source from Al Iraqiya told Al Sabah Newspaper.
Al Sadr supported in principle the appointment of Al Iraqiya List to form the government, the source added.
