The event is slated to be held on September 23-24. It will be attended by experts and scholars from different countries as well as Spanish officials.
Islam in Spain and Europe, unbiased and scientific analysis of new challenges in the region, and finding ways for boosting multicultural coexistence are among the themes of the congress.
Five specialized forums will also be held during the two-day congress featuring “Islam and laws in Europe”, “Inter-cultural conflicts and the family law”, “Islam, law and politics in Spain”, “Islam and security”, and “Islam and European institutions”.
There are some one million Muslims living in Spain making up two percent of the country’s population.
