Late Lebanese source of emulation grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah will be commemorated in a ceremony in Britain this Friday.

According to SICM website, the ceremony will be organized by the Isna Ashari Shia Society of Middlesex.

It will include recitation of verses from the holy Quran as well as a lecture by Ali Al-Helli, vice president of Iraqi-based IProspect Organization. Mr. Al-Helli will talk about grand Ayatollah Fadlallah’s character and his services to the Islamic world.

The society has invited the city’s Muslims to attend the ceremony, which is to be held from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday.

Grand Ayatollah Fadlallah passed away on July 4 in a hospital in Beirut. He was the leading Shia cleric in Lebanon and one of the most revered religious authorities in the country.
