AhlulBayt News Agency: Hostile media always try to deviate public opinion from world realities, says Hoj. Seyyed Mahdi Waez Mousavi, Imam Reza Shrine’s lecturer, in a public meeting with pilgrims and people of Mashhad.
“What is observed today in international politics is only part of the power war that lies between heads of influential western and Zionist groups,” Hoj. Waez Mousavi said.
He said: “These people and groups follow threat policy of each other as they possess confidential information about themselves. This shows that their relations are not based on ethics”.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Hojjatoleslam referred to the conduct of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in such issues, saying “Although Imam Ali (AS) had a strong dominance on public budget of the government, he was not interested in worldly issues and his life was free from luxurious symbols”.
He added: “Repeating claims that some Iranian officials take refuge in foreign countries in critical conditions, is part of enemy's psychological warfare to create frustration and distrust among the public”.
According to Hoj. Waez Mousavi, some nuclear powers take stands against independent states using pressure, embargo and threats. “This contradiction and double standard in speech and behavior reveals their force-based policy”.
He added: “Fabricating false stories, media outlets dependent on these arrogant powers try to pervert public opinion from realities”.
Imam Reza Shrine lecturer stated: “Young generation is sometimes fed with a different picture of reality about contemporary history. In fact, much of realities of those periods such as Pahlavi dynasty including extensive corruption, foreign dependence, and injustices are ignored in these media narratives”.
Concluding his remarks, Hoj. Waez Mousavi said: “Every person in today’s society is like a pioneer and a flagbearer. If our flag falls down, the enemy will find an opportunity for getting closer to us. We all have to be firm and resistant in preserving values”.
