AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): General Kargar said, "The resistance of the Iranian people during the Ramadan War was an unparalleled event, as magnificent as the days of the victory of the Islamic Revolution."
Analyzing recent developments and discussing the "12-day war and the third imposed war" and their similarities to the era of the Sacred Defense (the eight-year war of Iraq against Iran), he added, "Although these wars differ in form and circumstances and have certain differences from the Sacred Defense, what is common to all of them is the unparalleled presence of the people on the scene."
Emphasizing the necessity of continuing social and cultural activities, he stated, "The victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the successes of the Sacred Defense are due to the faith and presence of the people. Because in all the events of recent years—from internal seditions to the defense of holy shrines and the recent wars—it was the people who played the primary role. Therefore, we must appreciate this great capital."
General Kargar, also referring to the "Minab school" incident, stated, "This event is clear evidence of the war crimes of the United States and the Zionist regime against the Iranian nation. It must be registered and introduced as an important memorial along the Rahian-e Noor (pilgrimage route of the light) path. We are seriously pursuing the necessary actions for this and believe that programs must be developed for it."
Emphasizing the necessity of recording the "Minab" issue in the country's school textbooks, he noted, "This incident and other crimes of the enemies must be properly explained to future generations. The criminal enemy purposefully targeted our students in the Minab school to frighten the people, but Almighty God held the hearts of the Iranian people in His hand."
The head of the Foundation for the Preservation of Sacred Defense Works and Values and Resistance addressed the crime of the United States and the Zionist regime in attacking the Dena destroyer and stated, "The oppressed martyrdom of 104 children of this land on the Dena destroyer, which was returning from a civilian mission, is another piece of evidence of the enemy's crime. We will take the necessary actions to record this war crime and immortalize the names of these martyrs."
