Wall Street Journal: Iran Has Preserved Its Missile Capabilities to a Remarkable Extent

An American media outlet reported, citing sources, that despite all the attacks inflicted on its military and missile facilities during the imposed war, Iran has still maintained significant missile capability.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): An American newspaper has reported that informed sources told the media outlet that contrary to the White House's claim that attacks on Iran's military and weapons facilities during the imposed war led to the destruction of Iran's capabilities and its significant weakening, Iran has still maintained its capability to deploy and launch missiles.

According to the Wall Street Journal, based on U.S. intelligence assessments, "Iran still retains thousands of ballistic missiles in its arsenal that could be used if it brings its launchers out of underground storage."

The newspaper also wrote in its report that U.S. and Zionist regime intelligence assessments have explicitly stated that Iran's armed forces "still retain significant firepower."

According to the Wall Street Journal, "More than half of Iran's missile launchers have been destroyed, damaged, or trapped underground, and Iran's missile stockpiles have been reduced by about half," but Iran still has the capability to bring out and deploy many launchers from its underground facilities.

The newspaper reported, "Iran is believed to still possess thousands of ballistic missiles, including approximately 1,000 of the 2,500 intermediate-range missiles it had at the beginning of the war."

This report comes after American media had previously raised alarms that the United States' long-range missile stockpiles had significantly decreased as a result of aggressive attacks against Iran, and consequently, Washington was forced to use cheaper and shorter-range munitions in the war.
