AhlulBayt News Agency: The governor-general, the head of the Justice Department, members of the Security Council, and executive directors of Qom province have issued a joint message inviting the people to participate in the 40th-day memorial ceremony for the martyrdom of the Leader of the Ummah, Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
In a message issued on Wednesday, the governor-general of Qom province, Akbar Behnamjou, along with provincial officials, announced that memorial ceremonies will be held tonight at the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) in Qom. The events will honor the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and pledge allegiance to the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the message added.
All steadfast and revolutionary individuals, along with the esteemed staff of the province’s executive, judicial, military, and security bodies, are invited to participate in this grand ceremony, it further noted.
The US and the Israeli regime launched their joint military aggression on Iran on February 28, following their previous war in June last year. Both conflicts were launched as Tehran was in the midst of diplomatic talks with Washington over its peaceful nuclear program.
Ayatollah Khamenei was assassinated in an Israeli airstrike targeting his residence and office in Tehran on the first day of the ongoing aggression.
