ABNA24 - A grassroots campaign launched in Egypt is drawing support from lawyers, doctors, academics and students backing Iran and Lebanon’s Resistance.
A number of lawyers, doctors, teachers, university professors, media figures, students, and other social groups in Egypt have launched a grassroots campaign to demonstrate support for Iran and Lebanon’s Resistance.
According to the campaign organizers, participants have begun preparing a petition expressing support for Iran’s popular resistance against the US-Israeli-imposed war.
The letter, which is receiving increasing public attention in Egypt and continues to gather signatures, states that Egyptian citizens signing the statement declare solidarity with Iran in the face of the war imposed by the United States and the Israeli regime.
It adds that the purpose of that war is to weaken Iran’s capabilities, alter its political position and policies, control resources, and restrict Iran’s regional role in favor of the Israeli regime.
