Shia PG College defeated National Management by 35 runs in the final to bag the top honours in the 1st RKG Educational College Tournament at CB Gupta grounds, Lucknow on Thursday. Batting first, Shia PG College scored 158 runs losing six wickets in the given 20 overs. In reply, National Management was all out at a total of 123 runs in 18.3 overs.
A Gupta, Director RKG Education College, gave away the prizes to the winners. Ajay Singh was adjudged ‘Man-of-the-series’, Atul Yadav and Sharad Mishra were declared ‘Best Bowler’ and ‘Best Batsman’, respectively. Taqi Imaam was adjudged ‘Man-of-the-match’ in the final match.
