AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s Ambassador to the UK has warned that Tehran expected London and others to be very delicate, very careful in their actions.
Speaking in an interview with BBC on Saturday night, Ali Mousavi stated the British government had said it was not involved in this aggression.
It was good that the UK was not involved with this aggression, adding he believed the British government had learned lessons from the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Mousavi was quoted as saying.
But if they intend to participate in an attack against Iran, there is no doubt that Iran will exercise its right to legitimate self-defense, he added.
Iran has a long history of relations at bilateral, regional, and international levels with friendly countries in the Persian Gulf region, he stated.
The US and the Israeli regime launched joint military aggression on Iran on February 28 some eight months after they attacked the country in June last year. Both attacks came as Tehran was in the midst of diplomatic talks with Washington over its peaceful nuclear program.
